PDP Basketball Academy was founded by Hennssy Auriantal in 2002. Auriantal spent four season as an assistant coach on the Hilltopper Basketball staff under head coach Rick Stansbury from 2018-2022. The Hilltoppers won at least 20 games in each of Auriantal's four seasons with WKU – including victories over Wisconsin, Arkansas twice, West Virginia and Saint Mary's – and advanced to the Conference USA championship game in 2019 and 2021. He previously worked as an assistant coach at Jackson State in Jackson, Miss., from 2013-15. Auriantal brings both Division I playing, college coaching experience and NBA training expertise. He is responsible of the development of a few notable NBA players such as Former Sixers, Sam Dalembert, Charles Bassey (Sixers), Jonathan Kuminga (Golden State Warriors), Joel Ntambwe (Sixers & GSW G-League), Prosper Karangwa (Siena & GM Bluecoats) and more. Auriantal is extremely well connected around the country from college coaches, NBA GM’s , and around the world. Auriantal played four seasons at guard, under Dick Bennett era, at the University of Wisconsin from 1995-99, competing twice in the NCAA Tournament and once in the NIT. He graduated with a degree in kinesiology and was named to the Big Ten All-Academic Team in 1997 and 1999. He also competed for the Canadian National Basketball Team the year after graduating from the Badgers program. Auriantal and his wife, Nathalie, have four sons.
